The SA Monthly "Special Fall Issue" is Out!

This fall, let "Bruno" the winner of our 2019 "Pet Costume Contest" take you on a tour of one of his favorite spots in SA!  After his big shoot, we went to "Starbucks" to get him a "Puppicino."Do you have a pet that wants to be featured in the magazine? Here is your chance! For our 2020 contest, we have the treats of "Kitchen to K9," a local dog treat bakery, that makes unusual treats like "conches" for doggies. The winner of the 2020 "Pet Costume Contest" will get featured in an editorial about this bakery and receive a winning treat!



New to SA Monthly:

Jackleen Rios has been featured in the magazine as a dancer and model. As of recently, she is the official curator of the "Dancer of the Month" editorials. Learn about up-and-coming dancers in the community of San Antonio! Be sure to check out the "Jewel of the Art" Dance Studio if you are interested in developing as a dancer or have children in dance. 




Welcome Jacqueline Jax!

Also new to our staff, music editor Jacqueline Jax. She has built an online media empire with her radio show AVA Live Radio that is partnered with iHeart Radio and Anchor FM. SA Monthly is always scouting local talent, and so is Jacqueline! We have partnered with her radio show to potentially place local acts in the magazine and on the radio! HELP US KICK OFF OUR WEDDING ISSUE! 

SA Monthly is adding a new section! Weddings! If you have bridal services or an announcement to make contact the magazine (samonthlymag@gmail.com). We are looking for some trailblazers to help us create an issue exclusively for "SA Weddings." Submit to "win" a chance at the cover!

SA Monthly is known for its "profiles." You get to meet notable people in San Antonio making a difference. You will also notice that we are adding more engaging content that readers connect to, such as "How to Start Beekeeping" in our "Home" section. Welcome to A-List SA

As the Senior Editor of SA Monthly, I receive hundreds of requests to be featured. When someone is lucky enough to be featured, in an editorial or cover, I am normally left with very many "behind the scenes" shots or extras that don't make it into the magazine. For example: In this issue of SA Monthly our "Property of the Month" came with a video by Gerardo Pando (featured as our video editor earlier this year.) Pando Productions is an additional service for extra online advertising with the magazine. This is especially beneficial for realtors in the area who are selected for "Property of the Month" features. Inside the magazine spread we mentioned "additional video found online."
