Have you set up your 2020 resolutions?
Do you feel you need an extra push?
Are you tired of not reaching your goals?

Come to the first "SA Monthly Mixer" for this year:

SA Monthly's 2020 Vision Board & Cover Party!

 When: January 25th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm

What is a vision board party? What do I need to bring to this party?

This party is about YOU and developing YOUR vision board!

Bring pens or markers
Bring the poster board or card-stock of your choice
Bring a pair of scissors
Bring a magazine or two...or three (that you don't mind cutting up)

While there will be some supplies at the party but don't count on availability as we are inviting a lot of people...all of San Antonio actually...

Think over your 2020 resolutions and goals:

Losing Weight
Taking a trip outside the US
Take a photography class
Create your own clothing line

Whatever your 2020 goals are...there will be SA Monthly Editors at the party to help you get on a plan to success this year!

For Example: 

 Is one of your goals to "meet someone special?"


We have good news singles in SA. The SA Monthly Nightlife Editior Susan Muegge will be at the party! Get ready to mingle and discover people with similar interests while working on yourself! Susan regularly hosts singles mixers in San Antonio. She is coming out with her troop on the 25th (meet some interesting people!)



Is one of your 2020 goals to write the "Great American Novel?" Okay...well...how about just a first novel?

SA Monthly has you covered! Join San Antonio writer Luc Vors (recently featured in our last issue) for the SA Monthly Writer & Book Club.

Have you ever wanted to write a book? Or are you a fan of "Where Sleeping Dogs Lie?" Or do you know of an author that needs a little recognition? Come join us!

The goal of the SA Monthly Writers & Book club is to meet monthly to discuss writing, books, and help develop local talent.

Each month we will encourage (a least) a chapter of writing to help you develop a book in a year! After meeting with other local authors, attending buddy reads, and finding out more about how to develop your work. Maybe we will feature your book in SA Monthly!



Bonita Productions Cover Party!

Don't get confused, this party is a 3-in-1 event! Besides meeting interesting members of the community and our editors with our vision board party, or joining in the buddy-read hosted by Luc Vors, everyone is welcome to congratulate the January SA Monthly Magazine Model Lorena Monroe on a tour of Bonita Productions!

Bonita Productions is a full scale production company that can set you up with a makeover and perfect photos (especially great from realtors or the singles coming to the party who need quality photos.) If you enjoyed reading her story, or the excellent make-up and photos in her spread, you will not want to miss your chance to tour the studio and set up a session to start your year!

What is a VIP event? These are our monthly mixers, our red carpet events, and also events that we are invited to report on.

For example:

This month we will be reporting on the San Antonio Cocktail Conference hosted by chef Bohanan of the popular steakhouse "Bohanan's" downtown. Come get tickets for this event that starts Jan 15 and ends Jan 19th. There are different events so please look through the event calendar to find out what is good for you!
